Socks

Our dogs are ridiculously athletic.

Like, ripped.  And super lean.
(Oh, and they are also super skinny at this point in their lives.)

Recently, Tim has invented a new game to play with them in the evening (or anytime).

We call it "Socks" or "Rag".

We have two holey socks tied together, and Tim waves it around and up and down, and the dogs go crazy, particularly Cole, who gets very vocal.

The doggies LOVE playing this game.  They will play past exhaustion.  Their tongues will get wide and hang 3 inches out of their mouths.  They will foam at the mouth.  They will barely be able to hop off the ground, but they'll still go after those socks.  When Tim is done, they'll collapse on the floor panting for 15 minutes.

And then get up and ask for more.

Cole gets so excited when Tim gets home from work, and now he runs and grabs his socks, shakes them viciously, and brings them to Tim.  "Come on, Daddy, lets PLAY!"

The game has evolved as they have gotten better at it and more into it.  Tim used to make them "drop it" when they caught it, now he'll play tug-a-war with them, so someone "wins".  If he gets down in their faces when they are tugging, Kensi wags her tail.  If he starts growling at them, Cole will whine-growl back.

This game turns them into crazy beasts.  Ask Tim how it feels when they miss/he moves the socks and they get his hand instead.

We swear this game has taught Cole to jump.  Before the original version of this game, he wouldn't even jump in the car.  Now, he'll do anything for the socks.
So if you need to get rid of any old holey socks...
Cole & Kensi are taking donations :)
