I guess that's what Crossfit does to you.

About a month ago Tim and I set some Crossfit goals, so when New Years rolled around, we didn't feel like we needed to make new goals. But I hadn't written them down in my "goals journal" (did you know I'm journal-obsessed?) so I went to write them down.

But I didn't know where to start. Do I start with the big, huge, yearly goals? Do I write all the small daily life things down?

So I wrote down my two main goals for the year. BOOM.

And then made a page of
hopes. dreams. wishes.

And it made me feel really good. Like I wrote down my expectations for the year and every goal I feel like I could think of having. The big things. The little things. The hard things and the easy things.
And from that list (and to help me in reaching my goals), I decided to make quarterly goals. So I started a page of goals for January 1 to March 31.

This makes things so much more manageable for me! I can actually remember my goals and feel myself progressing!
The idea for the hopes.dreams.wishes list came from a goal I made (and still failed) in November. I decided to make a goal of reading the whole New Testament by the end of the year, instead of making the goal to read a piece of it each day. That way I would not feel like I "failed" if I skipped a day. Sounds brilliant, but we'll see how it works this year!
Here's to an amazing year in 2 0 1 4.
(and may my hopes.dreams.wishes come true!)
