Happy Half-Birthday, Little One!

You don't look so much like a baby anymore.

(It's probably your long hair that goes nicely in a ponytail on top of your head like a little whale spout.)

Mommy and Daddy have even given up calling you "Baby" anymore.  Now we call you "Little One".

You're 16# and 26 3/4 inches tall!

This month's favorites:

• Favorite color:  teal...the color of her washcloth she loves to chew on in the bath

• Favorite song:  "What Does the Fox Say?" she was totally hooked on watching the video! 

• Favorite food:  zucchini.  Steamed and pureed.  It's delish.  

• Favorite activity:  jumping in her jungle bouncer! 

• Favorite book:  "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" when Daddy reads it and gives the animals different voices.  

• Favorite weather:  SNOW!!!  

• Favorite TV show:  Crossfit Games reruns (think she'll #liftlikelindsey anyone?)

• Favorite clothes:  anything not warm.  Every time we took off her jacket, leggings, and socks when camping she got all excited and wiggley.  

• Favorite toy:  Links!  

• Favorite sound:  motor boat!  She spits a lot when she does this.  

You've done lots of BIG GIRL things this month too!


You roll over more now (but only like to be on your tummy when there is someone to entertain you).

You visited Yosemite Valley!  (See my A is for AdventureGirl blog post).

Flying with Daddy!  Wheee!

And slept in a tent in the cold for 3 nights!  And it rained one of those nights!

You eat 2 meals a day of solid food.  And love it.

You cheered for the Dodgers in the playoffs!

You played with your first pinecone.  Yep, this is significant.

You met a chicken!!!

You saw your first waterfall (BridalVeil Falls in Yosemite).

You visited Auntie Courts!  And Frontier Ranch.  And the monarch butterflies!

You took your first trip to Glacier Point...the l-o-n-g way!

So not interested in the view...

You learned how to take a selfie.  No joke.

You experienced your first fall colors.  And thought they tasted good.

You picked your first flowers with Grandma Deane.  They tasted good too.

You went to your first Avocado Festival (and ate avocado)!

You played with toys at REI for the first time...helping Mommy and Papa pick out new sleeping bags!

You had your first rain!
